Pakistan Raises Petroleum Prices by Up to Rs60 Per Litre

Islamabad (Commerce Desk): A record increase in petroleum product prices has been witnessed in Pakistan over the past week, with prices rising by up to Rs60 per litre.

According to details, the new week has begun while a decline in petroleum product prices has been recorded in the international market. After a two-day gap, the process of daily determination of petroleum product prices has also resumed.

A decrease of up to 5 percent has been observed in global crude oil prices, following which the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will determine new prices in line with international market rates.

Officials said that the announcement of new prices will be made after considering global market trends and other relevant factors.
