Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan will announce the name of its first astronaut in October, who will travel on a mission to China’s Tiangong Space Station. Zeeshan Ali and Khurram Dawood have been receiving space training in China for several months, but only one of them will be selected for the mission. During an approximately one-week stay aboard the space station, the selected astronaut will conduct four biotechnology experiments developed by Pakistani universities. The mission is expected to launch aboard Shenzhou-24 in late October or November 2026.
