Islamabad (Pakistan Desk): Negotiations between Pakistan and the United States regarding a bilateral trade agreement were held in Washington DC on July 9 and 10.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi, the talks were held in a cordial atmosphere, during which representatives of both countries made important progress in resolving disputed issues and developing consensus on common points.
He said that both sides made efforts to finalize the trade agreement at the earliest possible time.
Commerce Secretary Jawad Paul, who led the Pakistani delegation in the negotiations, described the talks as positive and said that important progress was made during the discussions, with significant developments achieved regarding the trade agreement between the two countries.
