Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) have decided to establish a special committee to formulate a joint opposition strategy in Parliament.
According to sources, members of both parties will be included in the committee, while PTI and JUI-F will submit their nominees for the committee to their central leadership.
Sources said the special committee will prepare proposals on parliamentary affairs and legislation, as well as ways to effectively respond to the government inside Parliament. The committee will also have the authority to take important parliamentary decisions, including boycotting sessions.
According to sources, members of both parties will be bound to follow the strategy decided and instructions issued by the committee.
The decision to form the joint parliamentary committee was taken at a meeting of the joint opposition parliamentary party last night, where it was agreed to adopt a joint strategy against the government inside Parliament.
