Riyadh (Monitoring Desk): Saudi Arabia has accused Iran of targeting a Saudi oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz and strongly condemned the incident.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was said that Iran should immediately stop actions that are posing a threat to international maritime navigation and the global energy supply chain.
The statement further said that Saudi Arabia will continue working with the international community to ensure the security of maritime routes in the region and the uninterrupted supply of global energy.
