Karachi (Commerce Desk): According to Arab media, the supply of Saudi crude oil to Pakistan via the Red Sea has resumed.
Saudi Arabia has reactivated the East-West Pipeline, through which crude oil from oil fields located in the eastern regions of the kingdom is transported to the Red Sea port of Yanbu.
According to the report, the pipeline had been shut down following the attacks on September 13, which also resulted in the suspension of crude oil loading at the export terminal.
Due to reduced maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, Pakistan had increased crude oil shipments from Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu port.
