Karachi (Commerce Desk): The important meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee of the State Bank of Pakistan is being held today, in which a decision regarding the interest rate for the next one and a half months will be made.
During the meeting, the situation of inflation in the country, economic indicators, and the potential impacts of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East on the national economy will be reviewed in detail. Following this, a decision regarding the policy rate will be taken.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Governor of the State Bank will announce the monetary policy through a press conference and provide details of the decision regarding the interest rate.
