Karachi (Commerce Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed significant volatility on Wednesday, with the market ultimately closing lower, causing investors to suffer losses amounting to billions of rupees.
At the start of the trading day, the Hundred Index rose by 699 points and crossed the level of 170,600 points. However, a negative trend began in the market a few hours later.
At the close of trading, the Hundred Index fell by 1,332 points to close at 168,636 points.
At the close of trading on the previous day, the Hundred Index had stood at 169,969 points.
