The meeting was attended by Supreme Court Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Task Force Shad Muhammad Khan, and the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue, while nominated judges of the High Courts participated via video link. On the occasion, the Chief Justice stated that the effective and timely resolution of tax disputes is essential for strengthening public trust and improving governance. During the meeting, Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb briefed the forum on his recent judgment, highlighting procedural hurdles in tax cases and presenting reform proposals.
