Islamabad (Pakistan News): The Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a new NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) for flights operating to and from Islamabad Airport, announcing temporary restrictions on certain flights on March 16.
Six sectors of the Lahore Flight Information Region will be temporarily closed on that day. During this period, commercial flights will not be allowed to land or take off at Islamabad Airport.
According to the NOTAM, all landings and take-offs at Islamabad Airport will be suspended from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on March 16. Flights already in the air will have to wait for clearance to land, and pilots have been instructed to carry additional fuel during this period.
