Washington (Monitoring Desk): US President Donald Trump has warned Iran, saying that the United States has prepared 1,000 missiles to target Iran and that any attack would be met with immediate and severe action.
In a statement posted on the social media platform, Donald Trump said that if Iran's government attempts to assassinate him or makes any attempt on his life, US missiles will be launched, followed by the possible use of thousands more missiles.
The US president claimed that American forces have already been given orders to be fully prepared for action against Iran. He said that the United States is completely ready, authorized, and capable of taking any military action, while any move by Iran will receive a strong response.
In addition, during an interview with the American newspaper New York Post, Donald Trump said that he has left specific instructions in case of any possible attack against him.
Trump said that if an attempt is made to harm him, the consequences would be extremely serious. He said Iran has been trying to target him for a long time and that if any incident occurs, Iran would face bombing unlike anything it has ever seen before.
It should be noted that Israel recently claimed to have obtained intelligence information regarding an alleged Iranian plot against the US president. In this regard, Trump said that Iran has no new plan, but Tehran has been trying to target him for several years.
Meanwhile, US news outlet Axios has claimed that talks between the United States and Iran are expected next week, while Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Iran has fulfilled all its responsibilities regarding the ceasefire agreement, but the United States is violating it.
