California (Web Desk): WhatsApp has introduced an artificial intelligence-powered photo expansion tool in a new beta version for Android users, allowing existing images to be converted into a 9:16 format.
According to the report, the feature will be available in WhatsApp’s image drawing editor, where users can access the tool by opening a photo and going to the filters section.
Meta AI will analyze the image and use artificial intelligence to expand the content around its edges so that the photo can be converted into a 9:16 format. Users will also be able to try again if they are not satisfied with the results.
The feature is expected to be introduced first in WhatsApp Status, followed by availability in chats. Since the feature is currently in the testing phase, its final release date for all users has not yet been announced.
