Lahore (Sports Desk): Japanese organizers are facing difficulties arranging accommodation after the number of participants at the Asian Games 2026 exceeded the planned limit.
According to media reports, the number of people participating in the games has increased from 15,000 to 17,000, creating an accommodation problem for an additional 2,000 people.
Japanese officials said there is neither additional budget nor sufficient accommodation capacity available for the extra participants. Therefore, they have been instructed to make their own arrangements for accommodation.
