In a podcast interview, Emraan Hashmi said he visited Lahore along with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt during the release of his film Awarapan, where he was warmly welcomed by fans.
He said the affection and hospitality he experienced in Pakistan surprised him, adding that the people’s behavior was extremely pleasant and memorable.
According to Emraan Hashmi, there is a large audience for Hindi films in Pakistan, where Indian movies are widely appreciated.
Recalling an incident during the release of his film Jannat, he said the enthusiasm of Pakistani fans reflected the strong popularity of his work in the country.
