Lahore (Sports Desk) – England women's national cricket team defeated South Africa women's national cricket team by 40 runs in the second semi-final of the Women’s T20 World Cup to secure a place in the final.
England scored 169/5 while batting first. In reply, South Africa managed only 129 runs, falling short of the target.
For South Africa, Tazmin Brits was the standout performer with 51 runs.
Earlier, Australia women's national cricket team had already qualified for the final. The title match will now be played between England and Australia on Sunday.
