Fan’s Funny Banner Steals the Show at Rawalpindi Stadium

Rawalpindi (Sports Desk): During the ongoing ODI tri-nation series featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England, an amusing banner held by a spectator at Rawalpindi Stadium became the center of attention, with a commentator’s humorous remark entertaining the crowd.

During the match between Sri Lanka and England, a young spectator held up a banner stating that he had sold his sister’s mobile phone to get his seat at the stadium.

While commentating on the match, the commentator noticed the banner and jokingly remarked that the phone must have been cheap. His comment amused those watching the match and also attracted considerable attention on social media.

It is worth noting that the first three matches of the tri-nation series were played in Rawalpindi, while the remaining matches and the final are scheduled to take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

Pakistan won both of its opening matches in Rawalpindi. In the first match, the national team defeated Sri Lanka by 37 runs, while in the second, it beat England by 87 runs.
