KARACHI (Showbiz Desk): Pakistani actress and film producer Hareem Farooq has claimed that she recognised Hania Aamir’s talent early on and gave her the first opportunity to establish herself in the showbiz industry.
During a recent interview, the host asked Hareem Farooq whether she had introduced Hania Aamir to the entertainment industry. The actress responded affirmatively, saying that she deserved the credit for introducing Hania to showbiz.
Hareem Farooq said people often ask her whether she has produced a film for the first time. However, she explained that the reality is quite different. Praising Hania Aamir’s abilities, Hareem said she had recognised from the beginning that Hania would progress in her career and achieve great success.
It is worth mentioning that Hania Aamir made her acting debut in the 2016 comedy film Janaan. At the time, she was studying at university. Hareem Farooq was a co-producer of the film and also appeared in a brief role.
Hania Aamir had already gained considerable popularity during her college days through her Dubsmash videos. Her performance in Janaan also earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Lux Style Awards.
Hania Aamir subsequently showcased her acting skills in several films and television dramas, including Na Maloom Afraad 2, Phir Wohi Mohabbat and Parwaaz Hai Junoon. Her performance alongside Farhan Saeed in the drama serial Mere Humsafar also received widespread appreciation from viewers.
In 2025, Hania Aamir also appeared in the Indian Punjabi comedy film Sardaar Ji 3.
