Dubai (Sports Desk) The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sri Lankan bowler Asitha Fernando 25 percent of their match fees, while both players have also been awarded one demerit point each.
According to the ICC, both players were found guilty of breaching the code of conduct.
During the second Test match against Sri Lanka, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Asitha Fernando were involved in a heated exchange, while Jaiswal also attempted to physically confront Asitha.
