Islamabad (Commerce Desk): According to the latest report released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the country’s annual inflation rate stood at 11.07% in June 2026.
The report stated that the inflation level during June remained in line with the Ministry of Finance’s estimate of 11% to 12%, indicating that overall trends were close to official projections.
According to the data, inflation decreased by 0.30% on a monthly basis in June compared to May, when the annual inflation rate was recorded at 11.66%.
The statistics show that both rural and urban areas also witnessed a monthly decline in inflation. Rural inflation fell by 0.03%, while urban areas recorded a sharper decrease of 0.47%.
The report further noted that rural inflation on a yearly basis stood at 10.92% in June, slightly lower than the national average.
Overall, the report indicates a slight easing in inflationary pressure, although the rate remains in double digits.
