Mohammad Nawaz Out of Champions Cup

Multan (Sports Desk) — Pakistan left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz has been ruled out of the National Champions Cup due to a fracture in the middle finger of his right hand.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), a scan confirmed a fracture in Mohammad Nawaz’s finger, which will keep him out of cricket for at least three weeks.

Mohammad Nawaz sustained the injury while fielding during the match against Pakistan Blues at Multan Cricket Stadium on August 12. Despite the injury, he completed his 10 overs in the match, but Pakistan Gold suffered a six-wicket defeat.

According to the PCB, after completing two weeks from the injury, Mohammad Nawaz will report to the Sports and Exercise Medicine Department, where his conditioning and return-to-play protocol will be determined under medical supervision.
