Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) — Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif agreed to film her first bold scene with Hrithik Roshan in the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara after director Zoya Akhtar explained the scene and insisted on its inclusion.
In a recent interview, Zoya Akhtar said that Katrina had never performed a scene of this nature in any previous film. According to her, after reading the script, the actress herself acknowledged that the scene was necessary for the story and then agreed to film it.
Referring to Katrina’s character “Laila,” the director said she is a girl who lives in the present and makes decisions according to her own wishes, making the scene important to portray the character’s spontaneity.
Released in 2011, the film starred Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin in the lead roles.
Zoya Akhtar has recently also hinted at the possibility of making a sequel to the film.
