Karachi (Showbiz Desk) — Internationally acclaimed Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has expressed her views on the murder of Karachi’s young businessman Mir Raza and praised the victim’s lawyer, Jibran Nasir, for his efforts.
Over the past few days, videos of Jibran Nasir’s statements have been circulating on social media platforms. Mahira Khan also commented on one of his statements and appreciated his efforts.
In her message, the actress said that Jibran Nasir was doing an excellent job and that everyone should raise their voice against this injustice. She further said that all of this must end now.
It is worth noting that an initial medical report following the exhumation of Mir Raza’s body on Saturday stated that he had been shot from behind, while marks of physical assault were also found on his body. The report also found evidence of fractures in the right thigh and jaw, while blood stains were found on tissues in the lower part of the body.
During the investigation, it was further revealed that an examination of the clothes sent to the forensic laboratory showed evidence that acid had been poured on the victim’s hands and face. According to investigative sources, the alleged purpose of pouring acid was to destroy the victim’s identity.
