Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): Indian actor and renowned television host Maniesh Paul’s mother, Urmil Paul, passed away in New Delhi on Wednesday. She was 76 years old; however, the family has not disclosed the cause of her death.
Maniesh Paul’s team issued a statement confirming her death. The statement said, “It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that actor Maniesh Paul’s mother passed away today in Delhi.”
Maniesh Paul was very close to his mother and often shared memorable pictures and videos with her on social media. In 2022, on his mother’s birthday, he wrote an emotional message expressing gratitude for teaching him to live life with happiness and without worries.
The late Urmil Paul is survived by her husband Jag Mohan Paul, sons Maniesh Paul and Vivek Paul, and daughter Jyoti Paul Mohan.
Maniesh Paul began his professional career as a radio jockey and video jockey, after which he became one of the most popular hosts on Indian television.
Along with acting in several television dramas, he also worked in films, including Mickey Virus and other movies. He also hosted famous reality shows such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Dance India Dance Li’l Masters, and Nach Baliye.
Maniesh Paul’s latest film is Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
