Lahore (Sports Desk) — Following the national team’s poor performance during the England tour and amid major changes to the squad, Misbah-ul-Haq has resigned as a member of the selection committee.
According to sources, Misbah-ul-Haq has submitted his resignation to the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Sources said Misbah-ul-Haq stepped down after he was not consulted in the selection of players for the England tour.
It is pertinent to mention that following the national team’s disappointing performance, a decision was made to send seven players back to Pakistan.
The players being recalled include Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha and Imam-ul-Haq.
