MUMBAI (Showbiz Desk): An old conversation featuring Indian actor Nana Patekar recalling his last meeting with Irrfan Khan during the late actor’s final days has resurfaced on social media and is gaining widespread attention.
In the viral video, Nana Patekar tells filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj that he had visited Irrfan Khan at his home in Mumbai, where the actor was seriously ill.
According to Nana Patekar, during their meeting, Irrfan Khan told him that he was very fond of the night-blooming jasmine plant and asked him to remember this.
The actor also said in the video that he sometimes thinks about planting a night-blooming jasmine at Irrfan Khan’s house in Madh, Mumbai.
It may be recalled that Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 53 due to a rare neuroendocrine tumour.
