Lahore (Showbiz Desk): After receiving a legal notice, religious scholar Nasir Madani publicly apologized to actress Momina Iqbal.
In a video statement, Nasir Madani said that if any of his remarks had caused hurt or distress to Momina Iqbal or her family members, he sincerely apologized for it. According to him, causing pain or offense was never his intention, which is why he chose to offer an apology publicly.
In his statement, Nasir Madani also appealed to all daughters to raise their voices for mutual respect and the protection of each other's rights. He stated that safeguarding the dignity and honor of every Pakistani daughter is a shared responsibility, as daughters belong to the entire society.
It is worth noting that a statement made by Nasir Madani regarding Momina Iqbal went viral on social media a few days earlier, after which the actress initiated legal proceedings. The matter was pursued by Momina Iqbal's sister, Ramsha Iqbal, following which Nasir Madani issued a video message expressing his apology.
