Malé (Sports Desk) The Pakistan national football team squad has been announced for the upcoming four-nation tournament to be held in the Maldives.
Head coach Nolberto Solano announced the 23-member squad through a video message on social media. The squad includes two new players who have been called up for the national team for the first time.
The newly included players are forward Ali Khan and midfielder Aadil Nabi, both of whom play club football in Sweden and the United Kingdom respectively.
The squad features three goalkeepers, including Saqib Hanif, Yousaf Butt, and Hassan Ali. The defensive lineup includes Abdullah Iqbal, Muhammad Fazal, Abdullah Shah, Isa Suleman, and others.
In midfield, the team includes Aadil Nabi, Rahis Nabi, Alamgir Ghazi, Hayan Khattak, Owais Khan, and Ali Agha. The forward line consists of Shaqee Dost, Umar Nawaz, Ali Khan, Haroon Hamid, Ali Shah, and Samad Arshad.
The tournament will be played from June 1 to June 10 and will feature host Maldives along with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
