Lahore (Sports Desk): National women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana said that the players benefited greatly from playing most of their matches against boys’ teams during the training camp.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Fatima Sana said that her experience of participating in The Hundred was very good and she was happy to become the first Pakistani player to play in the event. She said she felt proud to see Pakistan’s name represented in the tournament.
The national captain expressed hope that more Pakistani women cricketers would get opportunities to play in such competitions abroad in the future.
Fatima Sana said she had made it clear to the team’s players that, along with batting and bowling, it is also essential to focus fully on fielding, as good performance in all three areas is important for success.
