Paris (Sports Desk): Defending champion Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar won the third stage of the Tour de France cycling race, after which he also claimed the yellow jersey.
The third stage of the world’s most prestigious cycling race, the Tour de France, covered a distance of 195.9 kilometers, with cyclists facing relatively warm weather conditions.
Tadej Pogacar delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Jonas Vingegaard by a margin of just two seconds. He completed the distance in 4 hours, 45 minutes, and 11 seconds.
The 27-year-old Pogacar is a four-time Tour de France champion and is participating in the race with the aim of securing the title for the fifth time.
In the third stage, Richard Carapaz finished in third place, while Pogacar’s victory has further strengthened his position in the Tour de France.
