Bengaluru (Showbiz Desk) South Indian actor Prakash Raj participated in a protest against alleged paper leaks and irregularities in India’s NEET exam for medical and dental college admissions.
The protest was held at Freedom Park in Bengaluru under the banner of the “Cockroach Janta Party,” where a large number of students and young people took part.
Protesters demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the exam.
Despite heavy rain, participants remained gathered in large numbers, raising their voices for the protection of their educational future. Videos circulating on social media also showed Prakash Raj alongside social activist Sonam Wangchuk.
Addressing the gathering, Prakash Raj criticized the government, saying elected representatives should fulfill their responsibilities while students are forced to protest on the streets for their future.
He added that young people are struggling to protect their dreams and future, and he fully supports their peaceful protest.
