Lahore (Sports Desk): Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez have married in a simple ceremony at home, while the couple has announced plans to hold a larger celebration with family and friends in the future.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez married on August 11 in the drawing room of their home in Portugal, with no guests attending except their children.
The couple got married on the 10th anniversary of their first meeting. They first met at a store in Madrid in 2016.
In an interview with British fashion magazine Vogue, Georgina Rodriguez said that due to their busy schedules, they decided to immediately hold a short and simple ceremony at home.
She said that a grand wedding ceremony with family and friends would be held in the future so that the happiness could be celebrated together with everyone.
According to Georgina, as a child she dreamed of a grand wedding featuring a palace, a royal carriage, a long wedding dress and a diamond-encrusted crown, but her priorities changed over time.
