London (Sports Desk): Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shan Masood’s participation in the four-day practice match has been put in doubt due to a fracture in his finger.
According to sources, Shan Masood did not take part in the national team’s first training session in London and rested due to the finger injury. His injury will be medically examined again tomorrow.
Sources said that after receiving the medical report, the team management and medical experts will assess Shan Masood’s injury, following which a final decision will be made regarding his participation in the practice match.
Under the current circumstances, Shan Masood’s chances of playing in the four-day match are low. However, the final decision on his availability will be made after tomorrow’s medical examination.
