Washington (Monitoring Desk): US President Donald Trump has strongly reacted to reports circulating in Iranian media regarding the alleged details of a peace agreement, calling them fake and misleading.
He said that the information being published about the terms of the deal has no connection with any formal or written agreement and is completely fabricated.
It is worth noting that President Trump had earlier shared a statement by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on social media, in which it was claimed that there was “extraordinary progress” on a memorandum of understanding.
Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance rejected reports regarding the release of frozen Iranian assets, saying that claims about immediate unfreezing of funds are not accurate.
He added that any potential agreement would be structured in a way that fully addresses the concerns of the United States and its allies, and that financial assistance or asset releases would only be possible if Iran fulfills its commitments under the deal.
