Lahore (Sports Desk) An unpleasant incident was reported during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings, when reports emerged of inappropriate behavior by some spectators toward cheerleaders.
According to Indian media reports, during the match a few individuals made inappropriate gestures while the cheerleaders were performing, prompting immediate intervention by security personnel who brought the situation under control.
In a viral video, a cheerleader can be seen visibly uncomfortable with the crowd’s behavior and signaling them to stop.
Following the incident, the identified individuals were removed from the stadium, while the administration increased the deployment of security staff to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
The stadium management stated that any form of misconduct or harassment during matches will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against violations of the code of conduct.
