USA beat Bosnia 2-0 to reach World Cup last 16

San Francisco (Sports Desk): The United States advanced to the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 after a strong 2-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Round of 32.

Played in Santa Clara, the match saw the US team start aggressively, keeping Bosnia under constant defensive pressure and creating multiple goal-scoring opportunities throughout the game.

The breakthrough came from 24-year-old striker Folarin Balogun, who converted a deflected pass from Malik Tillman into a well-finished goal to give the USA the lead.

However, Balogun’s impact was cut short after he was shown a red card following a VAR review for a dangerous foul on Tarik Muhamedirovic, reducing the USA to 10 men for the remainder of the match.

Despite being a man down, the American side maintained control, and in the closing stages Malik Tillman sealed the win with a brilliant free-kick to make it 2-0.

With this result, the United States qualified for the FIFA World Cup Round of 16, where they will face Belgium on July 6 in Seattle.
