Karachi (Sports Desk): In a nail-biting Pakistan Super League match, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen by four wickets on the final ball.

Playing at the National Stadium Karachi, Zalmi successfully chased a target of 146 runs, reaching it with six wickets down on the last delivery.

Captain Babar Azam led from the front with 43 runs, while Kusal Mendis (27) and Michael Bracewell (25) made valuable contributions. Iftikhar Ahmed (15*) and Aamer Jamal (6*) remained not out to seal the win.

For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Saim Ayub picked up two wickets, while other bowlers claimed one each.

Earlier, Hyderabad Kingsmen were bowled out for 145 runs in 18.2 overs. Kusal Perera top-scored with 58 runs, while Marnus Labuschagne added 27.

For Zalmi, Iftikhar Ahmed and Sufiyan Muqeem starred with the ball, taking four wickets each and playing a crucial role in the victory.
