California (Web Desk): A new feature has been announced for creating images in the artificial intelligence-based chatbot ChatGPT, allowing users to create animated images (GIFs) through written instructions or images they upload themselves. For this purpose, OpenAI has introduced a new image model called "Images 2.6".
The new model will make it possible to transform a still image into an animated one. Users will be able to upload their images and provide written instructions describing how they want them to be animated, after which ChatGPT will convert them into animated images accordingly.
In addition, users will also be able to create new animated images by providing written descriptions of scenes they have in mind. This means that having an existing image will not be necessary to use this feature.
Users will also have the option to modify the speed and other characteristics of the generated animated images. As a result, users will have less need for separate software or online tools to create animated images and will be able to perform this task directly through ChatGPT.
According to OpenAI, the new image model is not limited to creating animated images but can also generate still images more quickly than before. The company claims that it operates 50 percent faster than the previous model.
The company has announced that this feature will be made available to users worldwide, and paying a monthly subscription fee will not be mandatory to use it.
