Islamabad (Pakistan News): A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Governor House in Peshawar reaffirmed the resolve to completely eliminate terrorism from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The meeting also reviewed the province’s political situation and recent developments.

According to sources, participants agreed on the complete elimination of terrorism and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces, police personnel, and civilians.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the government would not rest until the last terrorist had been eliminated and would not allow the sacrifices of security personnel to go in vain.

The prime minister assured the meeting that the federal government would provide all the resources required by the police, Safe City projects, and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to sources, a special relief package is also expected to be announced for the families of those who sacrificed their lives in the war against terrorism.
