Singapore (Commerce Desk): Global crude oil prices recorded a significant increase after the U.S. Department of the Treasury revoked a June 21 general license that had allowed limited sales of Iranian oil.
According to foreign news agencies, after trading activity, the price of Brent crude oil increased by $1.87 per barrel, reaching $76.03 per barrel.
Following recent U.S. strikes on Iran, the price of U.S. crude oil also recorded an increase of more than 3 percent, reaching $72.65 per barrel.
According to experts, crude oil prices may continue to experience further fluctuations due to concerns over global energy supplies.
