He made the statement during a discussion on the social media platform X. The remarks came in response to comments by renowned entrepreneur and author Peter H. Diamandis, who had argued that human progress depends not only on intelligence but also on access to resources and advanced technology.
Responding to the discussion, Elon Musk said that there is a strong possibility that artificial intelligence will surpass the combined intelligence of all humans within the next four to five years.
Elon Musk has long spoken about the future of artificial intelligence. While he frequently warns about the potential risks associated with the technology, he also considers it one of the most important and revolutionary innovations in human history.
In another message, he predicted an extraordinary era driven by artificial intelligence and robotics, leading to a significant increase in the production of goods and services while substantially reducing costs.
