LAHORE (Web Desk): The European Union has prepared a plan to send 348 satellites into space by 2029 to meet defense sovereignty and other key requirements.
According to a news agency, the European Commission said that a Europe-wide communications network consisting of 348 satellites has now entered the implementation phase.
In its statement, the Commission said negotiations to fully activate the IRIS² satellite network have been completed.
According to the European Commission, the satellite network will provide secure, reliable, and sovereign communications for emergency services and defense needs across the European Union by 2029.
