According to the Indian journal “India News Network,” six individuals belonging to the Naga tribe were abducted a month ago by an armed group, and their bodies have now been found. Following this incident, ethnic tensions in the region have further escalated.
According to the Indian newspaper The Hindu, after the incident, Naga organizations have called for a strike protest and have also demanded the resignation of the state deputy chief minister.
Reports indicate that since the outbreak of violence in February, approximately 260 people have been killed so far, while more than 60,000 people have been displaced, resulting in a highly tense situation in the region.
