Lahore (Sports Desk) — On the second day of the Leeds Test, England reached 366 for 8 in their first innings against Pakistan, taking a 195-run lead.
Harry Brook top-scored with 91, while Jordan Cox made 73, Joe Root 66 and Dan Lawrence 51. Jamie Smith was unbeaten on 16, while Jofra Archer remained not out without scoring.
For Pakistan, spinner Ali Usman delivered an outstanding performance, claiming a career-best five wickets. Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Ali and Khurram Shahzad took one wicket each.
Pakistan had been bowled out for 171 in their first innings. Abdullah Shafique scored 61, Imam-ul-Haq 42 and captain Salman Agha 21. England’s Ollie Robinson and Josh Tong took five wickets each.
