Rawalpindi (Pakistan Khabar): Speaker of the Maldives’ People’s Majlis Abdul Raheem Abdullah visited General Headquarters, where he met Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation and bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the Maldives.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to valuing the fraternal ties between Pakistan and the Maldives. Both sides also agreed to further strengthen relations based on mutual interests.
According to ISPR, the Speaker of the Maldives’ People’s Majlis appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
The meeting also included an expression of the desire to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.
