Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar): The deployment of Rangers in Islamabad and various districts of Punjab has been approved.
The Ministry of Interior, on the request of the Chief Commissioner Islamabad and the Punjab government, has authorized the deployment of Rangers and permitted them to provide full assistance under their legal powers.
According to the notification, in the event of attacks by violent and armed groups, Rangers and police will take appropriate and necessary retaliatory action, while all necessary measures will be taken to deal with any violent activity or potential threat.
The notification stated that Rangers personnel will perform all duties required to maintain law and order and ensure security.
