Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): There is disappointing news for fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, as the traditional annual meet-and-greet event will not be held on his birthday this year.
Every year on November 2, Shah Rukh Khan's fans gather outside his Mumbai residence, Mannat, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor. For the past two years, fans have also had the opportunity to meet Shah Rukh, interact with him and ask questions during a special event held at the Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir.
According to Indian media reports, the event is likely to be cancelled this year because Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming film King and will be in London on his birthday, where a song sequence for the film is scheduled to be shot.
Shah Rukh Khan will turn 61 on November 2. Directed by Siddharth Anand, King also stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Anil Kapoor, among others. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on December 24.
