Lahore (Sports Desk): Pakistan’s 13-year-old martial arts athlete Fatima Naseem defeated an Indian player to increase her number of world records to 10. She has also become the first female athlete from Pakistan to set 10 world records.
Fatima Naseem held eggs in her hands and delivered 340 punches in one minute, breaking the previous record of 331 punches held by Indian player Debajyoti Sarkar.
Guinness World Records has also recognized another world record by Fatima Naseem in the stretching category. She maintained her balance between two chairs while stretching for one minute and 45 seconds, whereas the previous minimum record was one minute and 30 seconds.
Fatima Naseem has previously defeated four Indian athletes and has also broken the record of Liberty Barros, a renowned flexibility athlete from around the world. Liberty Barros has demonstrated her extraordinary abilities on renowned shows in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Spain.
The Pakistani athlete also has the distinction of defeating Germany’s renowned martial arts athlete Paulina Gleboova, who holds multiple world records. She has also broken the record of Indian martial artist Kiran Uniyal.
