Moscow (Web Desk): The Russian space agency Roscosmos’ crewed spacecraft Soyuz MS-29 has successfully entered Earth’s orbit, with its docking with the International Space Station (ISS) expected soon.
According to Roscosmos, the launch and orbital insertion phases of the spacecraft were completed according to the planned schedule. This is the 75th long-duration space mission, and the crew will reach the International Space Station in approximately three hours through a fast-track two-orbit flight.
The space agency stated that the docking of Soyuz MS-29 with the ISS is expected at 10:56 PM Pakistan Standard Time. After docking, the station’s hatches will be opened, allowing Russian cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov, Anna Kikina, and NASA astronaut Anil Menon to enter the station.
According to Roscosmos, the crew will remain in space for approximately 261 days, during which they will conduct 38 scientific experiments. These research projects include important experiments such as Gazov Analizator-FS, Teledroid, and Solntse-Terahertz.
Roscosmos said that the purpose of these experiments is to further expand space research, evaluate advanced technologies, and obtain new scientific knowledge for future crewed space missions.
