Karachi (Commerce Desk): Gold and silver prices recorded a significant increase in the country, while the price of gold also rose in the international market. In the local bullion market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs7,900 to Rs457,236. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs6,773 to Rs392,006. In the international market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $79 to reach $4,347. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs140, bringing its price to Rs6,942.
