Karachi (Commerce Desk) — A significant increase in gold and silver prices has been recorded in both global and local markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs1,700, after which the new price reached Rs428,436 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,457, reaching Rs367,314.
Silver prices also witnessed an increase, with the price of 24-carat silver per tola rising by Rs54 to Rs6,291.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices increased by $17 per ounce, taking the global gold price to $4,060 per ounce.
